My brother-in-law, Chris is a loadmaster in the Air Force. Each time that troops come back from overseas they ask for volunteers to come help unload the plane. One night Chris volunteered, and as he was working a little boy came up to him and asked him to sign his poster, which he gladly did and went right back to work. A little later the plane had come in and the returning troops were walking off, as they did so the servicemen and women who were volunteering all turned to salute, and as Chris turned he was able to read the little boy’s poster for the first time which said, “Thank you, I enjoyed my freedom today.”
I believe there are many people in this Country that feel overwhelmingly grateful for their freedom as I do, but are just unsure how to appropriately convey their feelings. These shirts are designed and dedicated to all those who have served to create and protect everything that this great nation stands for, from our founding fathers to those serving today. Not only are these shirts a great way to show our gratitude, but 100% of our net-profits goes to the Armed Services YMCA, as a way to give back to those serving and protecting our freedom today.

About the Armed Services YMCA:
The Armed Services YMCA (ASYMCA) is the nation’s leading non-profit organization providing educational, recreational, social and religious support services to junior enlisted military personnel and their families. In 2006 alone, more than 9,133 individuals nationwide volunteered their time to help ASYMCA serve more than 400,000 military families.
A History of Service
The YMCA’s dedication to America’s armed forces began in 1861 with the Civil War, when a handful of YMCA members voluntarily provided relief services to men in uniform. The first permanent Army YMCA was established at Fort Monroe, Va., in 1889. These services continue to expand today.
Meeting the Needs of Military Families
Enriching the quality of life for military families is at the core of ASYMCA’s mission. Healthy families contribute substantially to success of the military and defense community during peacetime and more importantly, in times of war. Freedom Festival 2008
Freedom Inspired is thrilled to announce that we will be participating in the 2008 Freedom Festival in Provo, Utah! The Festival runs July 3-5, 2008. The theme for the festival this year is "American Values- Family, Freedom, God and Country". We feel our cause fits in perfectly with this theme and, we are excited to be involved.
